Swedish Candy Market is Zurich's first dedicated Swedish pick & mix candy store, opening in June 2026 in Central Zurich. We bring the beloved Scandinavian lördagsgodis (Saturday candy) tradition to Switzerland — a colourful, interactive and joyful retail experience with over 100 varieties of premium Swedish candy. We are a young, ambitious brand, and our Zurich store is our flagship location.

We are looking for an energetic, hands‑on Store Manager to lead our Zurich flagship from day one. You will be responsible for all day‑to‑day operations, building a team culture that reflects our brand values, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. As our first hire, you will play a central role in shaping how Swedish Candy Market feels and runs in Zurich — including our presence at pop‑up events throughout the city.

• Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Lead, schedule and motivate the store team, including the full‑time candy associate
• Deliver an outstanding pick & mix customer experience consistent with the Swedish Candy Market brand
• Manage stock levels, monitor inventory consumption, and place reorders in line with supplier lead times
• Coordinate pop‑up and event participation across Zurich
• Handle cash management, daily reconciliation and basic reporting to founders
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store is always clean, inviting and on‑brand
• Build relationships with regular customers and the local community
• Identify operational improvements and feed insights back to the founding team
• Ensure compliance with Swiss retail regulations and food hygiene standards

• Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role (minimum 2 years)
• Fluent in both English and German — essential for serving our diverse Zurich customer base
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage stock, schedules and daily operations independently
• A warm, people‑first personality with a genuine passion for customer experience
• Experience in food, confectionery or speciality retail is a strong plus
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, startup environment where you help build things from scratch
• Reliable, proactive and solutions‑oriented
• Legally authorised to work in Switzerland
