We are a service company operating at the Zurich and Geneva airports and a subsidiary of Swissport International Ltd.

Your Mission

In this role you will be representing Matchbox Solutions towards leading aviation industry stakeholders such as DCS providers, IATA, SITA, kiosk and self‑service kiosk manufacturers etc. You are acting as the primary ambassador positioning Matchbox as the industry reference for travel document validation.

Your Responsibilities
  • Drive the commercial rollout and sales of a market‑leading airline software solution to international airline customers
  • Build and manage long‑term senior‑level relationships with airlines, aviation IT providers, and strategic industry partners
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong sales pipeline across global aviation markets
  • Lead customer presentations, product demonstrations, negotiations, and contract closings
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to align customer needs with solution development
Your Profile
  • University degree in business administration, aviation management, information systems or a comparable qualification
  • Proven track record in sales or business development within the aviation industry, ideally in Airline‑IT or DCS environments
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, passenger processing, regulatory frameworks and IATA standards, with experience representing a company in international forums and standardization bodies
  • Established professional network across airlines, DCS providers, IATA, SITA and aviation technology partners, with willingness to travel occasionally (up to approx. 20%)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (additional languages are an asset), combined with strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
