In this role, you will serve as a recognized subject matter expert in security, providing competent functional support across a country or cluster of countries. You will be responsible for researching, analysing, and interpreting emerging security threats that could impact employees, assets, or operations.
You will play a key role in organisational resilience, crisis management, and the implementation of Hitachi Energy's global and regional security strategies. Reporting to the Head of Regional Security, you will manage complex projects with limited supervision, coach lower-level professionals, and contribute to critical business decisions through expert security insights.

- Analyse emerging domestic and international security threats and provide timely assessments and advisories.
- Deliver competent security support across the country/cluster, ensuring alignment with regional security standards and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance through audits, inspections, and monitoring of evolving security legislation.
- Provide expert security risk management advice to support key business decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement and behavioural change through global and regional security initiatives.
- Engage internal and external stakeholders to strengthen security awareness and performance.
- Lead or support security-related projects, managing objectives, resources, and reporting.
- Coordinate organisational resilience, emergency response, and country-level crisis management.
- Min. 5 years advanced education and significant experience as a security specialist.
- Proven expertise in threat intelligence, risk analysis, and crisis management.
- Strong understanding of security standards, legislation, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Experience coaching and advising leaders on security matters within a complex organisation.
- Business fluent in German and English.
- Demonstrated ability to manage security programmes, projects, and budgets effectively.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience in organisational resilience, emergency response, and business continuity coordination.
- Ability to operate in a global matrix environment and manage responsibilities across multiple countries.
- Approx. 30% travel required.
