Lead Software Engineer

We’re working with a company who is building next-generation embedded computing platforms that bridge the gap between low-level hardware and intelligent software. You’ll design and ship the components that let developers unlock full performance from next-gen processors, from drivers and runtimes to compilers, SDKs, and benchmarking tools. Depending on experience, you’ll either focus on hands‑on technical implementation or take a leadership role defining the roadmap and guiding a small team.

• Develop and optimize embedded runtimes, drivers, and compiler paths (MLIR / LLVM, kernels, code generation) for advanced compute platforms
• Build and maintain benchmarking, profiling, and CI frameworks ensuring reproducible performance and reliable releases
• Collaborate with hardware and architecture teams to define APIs, data flows, and software–hardware integration strategies
• Design and package SDKs, developer kits, and reference projects with clear documentation and example workflows

  Guide and mentor engineers, shape the roadmap, and oversee delivery quality across the software stack

• Currently located in Switzerland or have the right to work in Switzerland.
• 5–10+ years experience developing low-level software, firmware, or compilers
• Strong skills in C++ and Python
  , with production-grade code delivery
• Proven experience with embedded systems
  , compiler design
  , or hardware–software integration
• Solid understanding of systems fundamentals – memory, concurrency, performance optimization
• Hands‑on exposure to MLIR/LLVM
  , graph compilers
  , or DSP / AI libraries
• Comfortable reading hardware specifications
  , defining APIs, and working at the HW/SW boundary
• Evidence of profiling and optimization work on embedded or accelerator targets
• (Lead level) Experience managing small teams or projects, including roadmaps, planning, and stakeholder coordination
