• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.

• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience one or more of Server Platform/Pod, Spanner, Big Table and Flume.
• Experience thriving in agile environments, adapting to changing requirements, and delivering results.
• Understanding of large-scale architecture design and implementation.
• Expertise in designing, building, and operating large-scale, reliable, and scalable systems, in the context of consumer-facing products.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries and navigate complex constraints.

• Work will focus on ensuring the quality, consistency, and scale necessary to power success for teams across You Tube.
• Develop and implement robust monitoring, alerting, and data validation strategies across our distributed systems to ensure the delivery of consistent, reliable, and high-quality metric data. Build and augment fault-tolerant systems.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the You Tube Metrics Aggregator (YTMAgg), our innovative platform for large-scale, real-time metric aggregation.
• Drive the evolution of how You Tube's key user-facing metrics are computed, adapting to new viewing experiences and products.
• Manage and optimize the processing of billions of daily events, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions for batch and streaming data pipelines, utilizing key internal infrastructure such as Big Table, Flume.
