** Contract role – 2 days a week on site!

We’re supporting a large insurance programme in Switzerland and are looking for an experienced Solution Architect (Java) to join a global claims transformation initiative.

This is a senior, hands-on role with real ownership – shaping how global claims components are implemented and adapted locally, while guiding distributed development teams.###

What you’ll be doing
* Leading the design and development of ABS Claims solutions (strong focus on
** Claims File**)
* Analysing and implementing components within the Swiss claims landscape
* Defining local architecture and required enhancements
* Guiding and supporting developers across multiple locations
* Ensuring high code quality through reviews, testing, and best practice
* Working closely with stakeholders to align global standards with local needs### Ideal Background / Experience
* Strong experience as a Senior / Lead Solution Architect
* Solid Java background (Java 12+), Spring / Spring Boot
* Experience with OSGi / Eclipse Plug-ins
* Comfortable working in international, distributed teams
* Confident leading technically and pushing delivery forward### Nice to have
* Claims domain knowledge (Motor / Claims processes)
* ABS Business Layer or Core Plug-in experience
* Camunda* Azure / cloud exposure### Tech & Tools Java, REST, Spring, ABS, CISL, Git, JUnit, Jenkins, JIRA, Eclipse / IntelliJ
