About the Role

Join our team as a Cloud Platform Engineer and play a key role in designing and delivering a cloud platform that drives innovation and efficiency across Julius Baer.

• Design and implement complex orchestration solutions and enable Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities for the Cloud platform based on Microsoft Azure.
• Enhance the cloud platform offering by operationalizing new services and delivering them to end users through fully automated, Git Ops-driven workflows.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, providing support and mentorship throughout their cloud adoption journey.

• Profound hands‑on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and Git Ops practices.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, including familiarity with the operator pattern.
• Experience with Crossplane is an advantage.
• Solid software engineering background; prior experience with Go (Golang) is a valuable asset.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services, preferably in enterprise‑scale cloud environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset—proactive, innovative, and eager to share ideas.
• Proven track record in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Cloud certification (e.g., Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert, Azure Administrator Associate) is considered a strong advantage.
