• Take end-to-end ownership and responsibility to bring our wealth management applications to the next level and work closely with the Application Responsible (AR) and the Product Owner (PO).
• Work together in a cross-functional team using agile methodologies as part of a Dev Ops-centric model.
• Design, implement, deploy, release, and monitor your team's applications; participate in merge request reviews.
• Understand business needs by collaborating with colleagues from across different divisions of Julius Baer.
• Participate in planning and feature refinement sessions with your team.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects to design software solutions aligned with Julius Baer's overall architecture vision.
• Actively participate in our Software Engineering communities, sharing your knowledge and helping others.
• Deliver high-quality code, aligned with Julius Baer's guidelines and standards.

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have proven relevant working experience.
• Banking and Finance experience, especially in Investment & Wealth Management of added value.
• Proven delivery experience in Software Engineering using industry standards, such as test-oriented development using TDD and BDD.
• Sound understanding of agile methodologies and Dev Ops; agile certificates are a plus.
• Understand Dev Ops concepts, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD), and the importance and value of automated testing.
• Can-do attitude, pragmatic, open-minded with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willing to learn new ways of working and support Julius Baer in its transformation.
• Strong organisational skills, well structured, reliable with a self-driven and hands-on mentality.
• Excellent command of English (C1/C2).

• C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, Angular (v20+), Service oriented architecture, REST Web Services.
• SQL (Microsoft SQL Server), React, JavaScript, Typescript.
• Kubernetes (PKS), Streaming using Kafka, Avro, Micro-frontends via Module Federation.

• To be an expert in both front-end and back-end domains; you can focus on either front-end or back-end but be open to working in both when required.
