Senior Software Engineer

Aderis is building the next generation of enterprise software: an AI Native Finance ERP system designed from the ground up to leverage the power of artificial intelligence. We're not retrofitting AI into legacy systems—we're reimagining what enterprise software can be when AI is at its core.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be pivotal in enabling Aderis to operate  challenges ahead involve helping the team continuously optimise and scale our systems, making everything we've built robust, observable, integrated, and fit for enterprise customers with serious requirements.

We have a small, highly capable engineering team. You will be expected to strengthen and complement this team across AI deployment, infrastructure, backend and API services.

• Improve the reliability, observability, and maintainability of our AI-powered services in production
• Extend our backend services to handle critical operations related to finance, tax and bookkeeping
• Establish patterns for monitoring AI systems in production: latency, cost, quality, drift, and failure modes
• Work across the stack as needed, from cloud infrastructure to application code, ship frequently
• Own systems end to end, from design through production operation

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with strong production-systems instincts. The ideal candidate has meaningful depth in at least one of the following, and working knowledge of the others:
• Enterprise integrations - building and maintaining integrations with ERPs, accounting systems, or other enterprise platforms
• Cloud infrastructure on GCP or AWS - Docker, Kubernetes or managed equivalents, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD, networking, security
• Deploying AI/ML systems at scale - observability for non-deterministic systems, evaluation pipelines, cost and latency monitoring, graceful degradation, robust error handling around LLM APIs

Beyond that, we're looking for strong proficiency in Python and Type Script, comfort working across the stack, and a collaborative nature.

• Experience with Pydantic (models, validators, schema generation)
• FastAPI or Nest.js experience
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (Anthropic, Mistral, Google Vertex AI) and the operational realities of running them in production
• GCP or AWS experience
• Background in ERP systems, Accounting Software or enterprise software
