Senior AI Engineer – Pro-Code & Agentic Solutions, Microsoft AI Foundry

Overview

The Data & AI Solutions Hub will design, build, and operate the enterprise AI platform for Vontobel on Microsoft AI Foundry, Azure, and the Power Platform. We seek a hands‑on senior engineer to deliver production‑grade Generative AI and agentic solutions, turn them into reusable patterns for the wider organization, and raise engineering standards across the team.

• Design, build, and operate production‑grade agentic and GenAI solutions on Microsoft AI Foundry, taking them from prototype through to governed, observable, and fully supported production services.
• Translate recurring business needs into reusable reference architectures and proven patterns so that new use cases build on a secure foundation.
• Set the pro‑code engineering standard for AI and mentor colleagues in both pro‑code and low‑code environments (Copilot Studio, Power Platform).
• Build enablement and self‑service into the platform, making the secure and compliant path the easiest for business teams.
• Integrate governance, data classification, identity, and responsible‑AI guardrails directly into engineering, ensuring sound judgement in a regulated banking environment.

• Demonstrable experience delivering at least one agentic or GenAI system from prototype to production within a sensitive or regulated environment.
• Strong pro‑code foundations; proficient in Python for AI and agent development, and production software experience in C#/.NET or Type Script.
• Hands‑on depth in Microsoft AI Foundry and Azure AI services (retrieval‑augmented generation, orchestration, evaluation, agent design patterns).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio is an advantage.
• First‑principles approach to security and data boundaries, with confidence to advise business teams against inappropriate approaches.
• Track record of improving engineering standards through mentoring, technical leadership, or team practices.
• Learning agility in a rapidly evolving technology landscape. Fluency in English required;
