Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive tangible outcomes through hands‑on implementation
  :
  Write critical code, configure systems, troubleshoot issues, and guide junior teammates for successful deployment and measurable business impact.
• Build transformative AI solutions
  :
  Own the design, development, and implementation of scalable production systems, including AI and LLM‑based intelligent agents and automated workflows on the Salesforce platform.
• Engineer bespoke agentic AI solutions
  :
  Work directly with customers to design and build custom intelligent agents on the Agentforce platform, ensuring integration with existing ecosystems.
• Data configuration & integration
  :
  Own the data lifecycle—from design of data models to building processing pipelines and establishing integration strategies for advanced AI applications.
• Proactively remove technical blockers
  :
  Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical challenges in data integration, model deployment, and agent orchestration.
• Drive Agentforce innovation
  :
  Push the capabilities of the platform, develop intelligent agents, automate processes, and influence future product enhancements.
• Become a trusted strategic partner
  :
  Embed with client teams, translate operational challenges into technical requirements, and lead technical discussions.
• Conduct deep‑dive technical debugging and root cause analysis
  :
  Optimize performance and reliability of system interactions, data flows, and AI model behaviors.
• Lead rapid prototyping and iteration
  :
  Build proofs‑of‑concept and MVPs with client teams, gathering feedback for iterative refinement.
• Implement and enforce best practices
  :
  Evangelize engineering best practices for code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.

• 5+ years of end‑to‑end delivery experience for high‑quality, scalable production solutions.
• Strong background in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Expert‑level proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or Apex.
• Extensive experience building and deploying AI/LLM technologies, including LLM integration, advanced AI orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks.
• Deep expertise in data modeling, processing, integration, and analytics with enterprise platforms like Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, or Big Query.
• Significant experience with the Salesforce platform, including advanced configuration, customization, and complex development.
• Entrepreneurial, “get‑things‑done” attitude with a focus on fast, impactful delivery and proven leadership of technical initiatives.
• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, able to articulate complex concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead technical engagements, mentor juniors, and oversee the technical aspects of projects.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time as needed to customer sites.

• Extensive experience with Salesforce Data Cloud and/or the Agentforce platform.
• Experience developing conversational AI solutions in highly regulated industries.
• Expert‑level experience with Apex and/or Python in a professional setting.
• Prior customer‑facing technical lead or architect role.
• Advanced Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer II, Application Architect, or System Architect.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce CRM Clouds (Service, Sales, Marketing).
• Experience with Salesforce Flows and Lightning Web Components, including complex custom development.
• Contributions to open‑source AI frameworks or libraries.
