Location: Zürich
For our client, we are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Lead ABS Developer Claims to support an international claims environment starting 01.08.2026.
- Analyze how global software components can be implemented locally in the claims / motor environment
- Define and elaborate the target architecture for the local integration of group components
- Specify local adaptations, extensions and technical requirements
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers across different locations
- Coordinate and align with international development teams
- Ensure quality through code reviews, unit tests and system integration tests
- Align local adaptations with relevant stakeholders
- Support the implementation of architectural guidelines and technical standards
- More than 10 years of experience as a Lead Developer, Senior Developer or Solution Architect
- Strong experience working with international development teams
- Proactive, hands‑on mindset with strong ownership
- Very strong Java development experience, ideally with Java 17 or higher
- Experience with Spring Boot 3.x
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices and event‑driven architectures
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with Git workflows, pull requests, merge processes and code reviews
- Experience with JUnit testing
- Experience with domain‑driven design
- Experience working in agile environments
- Confident use of development and delivery tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Jenkins, JIRA and DB Visualizer
- ABS know‑how, especially in the claims / claims file area (nice to have)
- Experience with CISL / CISLv2 (nice to have)
- Experience with the ABS Business Layer, especially in a claims context (nice to have)
- Experience with ABS Extensions and ABS Core Plug‑ins (nice to have)
- Knowledge of claims business processes and standard claims process flows (nice to have)
- Experience with OSGi / Eclipse Plug‑ins (nice to have)
- Cloud knowledge in Azure and/or AWS (nice to have)
- Camunda knowledge (nice to have)
- German language skills (nice to have)
