Salesforce is hiring a Portfolio Leader to directly manage and grow a team of technical AI specialists deploying Agentforce solutions inside complex customer environments. This hands‑on leadership role requires someone who can drive engineering excellence while operating at the executive level. It is not a traditional people manager but a mission‑critical multiplier on the agentic frontier.

As leader, you will oversee a blended delivery team made of Forward Deployed Engineers (Technical Builders) who design, build and deploy AI agents directly in customer environments, and Deployment Strategists (Strategic Builders) who advise customers on AI strategy, use‑case definition and adoption. Together, these teams co‑build and deliver agentic AI solutions on a single large enterprise account or across multiple engagements simultaneously.

You’ll set engineering standards, unblock complex customer deployments, and scale the talent that ships production AI today.

• Delivery Team Coordination:
  Own capacity planning, talent acquisition and staffing to ensure cross‑functional squads have the horsepower to deploy Agentforce at enterprise scale.
• AI‑Augmented Leadership:
  Enable your team to ship solutions using a best‑in‑class suite of AI tools (Cursor, Claude, Salesforce coding products such as Vibes). Fostering an inclusive, high‑energy, psychologically safe engineering culture where builders iterate fast and continuously level up.
• Direct Product Influence:
  Stand at the center of the product feedback loop. Partner directly with Product and Engineering to pilot programs and beta rollouts, turning field insights from high‑stakes deployments into features on the Agentforce core roadmap.

• Scale Elite Talent:
  Recruit, mentor and develop the next wave of Technical and Strategic Builders. Drive technical excellence, structure career growth and foster an environment where shipping production‑ready systems is the norm.
• Maintain Operational Velocity:
  Monitor key delivery metrics, coach your teams on optimization and run hard on complex customer escalations. Ensure your teams move from sketch to deployable in weeks, not months.

• Ultimate Technical Authority:
  Serve as the final technical escalation point for your portfolio. Maintain deep architectural judgment across the Salesforce platform, advanced LLM techniques, data pipelines and agentic orchestration.
• Guide Enterprise Implementations:
  Unblock complex data readiness, tool integration and multi‑agent orchestration challenges. Step in directly to help your teams assess customer technical readiness, remove deployment barriers and codify standardized, repeatable delivery methodologies.

• Drive Agentic Adoption:
  Build and anchor strong executive‑level relationships within your customer portfolio, ensuring flawless Agentforce activation, rollout and sustained production value.
• Accelerate Portfolio Performance:
  Operate your account portfolio with engineering rigor—monitoring health, delivery velocity and core consumption metrics—to accelerate progress toward customer business outcomes.
• Cross‑Functional Alignment:
  Partner lock‑step with Services, Account Success and Product teams to help enterprises activate and consume Agentforce quickly, moving customers from pilot to production at hyper‑speed.
