About the Role:

For our client, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Service Now Developer to support the development and operation of critical Operational Risk (OpRisk) applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, from analysis and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

This position is part of a collaborative, agile environment focused on the continuous enhancement of an existing risk management platform.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Operational Risk applications
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop and enhance Service Now-based applications and workflows
• Support the operation and continuous improvement of existing systems
• Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, and nearshore teams
• Ensure solutions meet quality, performance, and security standards
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to technical decision-making

• Strong experience as a Service Now Developer (not only an end-user or administrator)
• Proven expertise in:
  • Service Now GRC
  • IRM
  • BCM
  • TPRM
• Good knowledge of:
  • Linux
  • PL/SQL
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a related technical discipline

• Knowledge or strong interest in Operational Risk Management (OpRisk)
• Experience working in regulated industries, banking, or financial services
  
  Familiarity with agile development methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Team-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and distributed team environment

• German: C2 level
• English: C2 level

• 4 onsite developers
• 5 nearshore developers
• 4 business specialists
