Full-Stack Engineer (startup generalist

We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to strengthen our engineering team. In this role you will help design, build, and ship new functionality across our stack:
From back-end services and cloud infrastructure to the applications our customers rely on inside recycling plants.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who thinks end-to-end. You will take on real engineering challenges: reasoning through the logic, drafting the architecture, deciding how a solution should be deployed and served, and then implementing it. As a small, fast-moving startup, we need someone comfortable working across the full stack and able to own a challenge from idea to production, a true startup generalist.

• Take engineering challenges end-to-end - define the logic, draft the architecture, decide how the solution is deployed and served, and implement it.
• Design, build, and deploy back-end services and APIs on Google Cloud, using Cloud Run, VMs and Firebase Functions.
• Model, store, and serve data reliably with Firebase and No
  
  SQL databases.
• Write clean, maintainable Python across services and internal tooling.
• Containerize and ship applications with Docker, using Git/Git Hub for version control.
• Contribute to front-end applications (React, and potentially Swift-iOS).
• Maintain high standards for code quality, scalability, and reliability in production environments.

• A university degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• Several years of software engineering experience across the stack.
• Strong proficiency in Python and solid general software engineering fundamentals.
• Proven ability to solve engineering challenges end-to-end, from logic and architecture through to deployment and serving.
• Experience with cloud and serverless technologies (Google Cloud, Cloud Run, Firebase Functions).

• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast‑paced startup environment with high ownership.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Familiarity with industrial, IoT, or real-time monitoring systems.
