Become Our Expert for International Transportation! As a Transportation Specialist - Inbound
, you are the central interface for our international material flows. You coordinate transport service providers, monitor service quality and costs, and drive process improvements. With your expertise in international transport regulations and your analytical mindset, you support the further development of our global transport management.

• Daily coordination of transport service providers (all modes), including issue resolution, service performance improvement, and cost reduction
• Monitoring milestones, service and data quality, on-time performance, and costs of our 4PL and transport service providers, as well as implementing appropriate measures in case of deviations
• Tracking and reporting key transportation metrics, including on-time pickup and delivery, lead times, costs, and service non-conformities
• Supporting performance reviews with suppliers and logistics service providers for continuous improvement, as well as preparing transport-related tenders
• Supporting the preparation of monthly forecasts and accruals by tracking freight costs by supplier and transport mode
• Reviewing and validating transport invoices, including allocation and approval processes
• First-level support for the procurement department, maintaining transport-related master data in SAP, and assisting transport service providers in resolving related issues
• Keeping up-to-date with transportation market trends to provide expert advice to internal Belimo stakeholders
• Supporting projects to further develop the Group Transportation function

• Degree in Supply Chain, Process Management, Freight Forwarding Logistics, or a comparable qualification
• Solid professional experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain functions
• Strong technical knowledge in international sea/air freight handling (import & export)
• In-depth knowledge of sourcing, customs regulations, and international transport regulations
• Understanding of dangerous goods shipping restrictions, CO₂e calculation principles, and related transportation topics
• Strong analytical skills and confident handling of large data sets and related software tools
• Advanced knowledge of the MS product suite and transportation-related technologies
• Detail-oriented and meticulous personality with a passion for transportation
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
