Athletic Trainer

The requirements are as follows:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field of study. Master’s Degree (preferred) in Athletic Training or related field of study.
Must possess and maintain: NATABOC certification, LAT certification from the Texas Licensing and Regulation Department, within 60 days of hire date, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer or BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Instructors provide classroom instruction and are responsible to department chairs and academic dean.

• Perform job duties as assigned by supervisor
• Stay current with and follow departmental and college policies
• Complete required compliance training and stay current on professional development hours

Required Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field of study. Master’s Degree (preferred) in Athletic Training or related field of study.

  Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in instructional field required.
