Job Description

ECU Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures is currently seeking several Learning Assistants to fulfill the following duties:

  • Assist instructors in class.
  • Help facilitate and lead cultural immersion activities outside class.
  • Assist instructors and students with assignment preparation.
  • Serve as conversation partners for beginning language learners in and outside class.
  • Tutor students, as needed.

GPA Requirement

GPA Requirement Minimum of 3.0

Students who are pursuing a

B.

A. in Foreign Languages and Literatures; a B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Russian Studies; or a minor in Classical Studies, French, Foreign Language Education, German, Hispanic Studies, or Russian Studies are preferred.
