Responsibilities
After completing the Basic Training (BOKL) you will undertake an orientation period of several weeks at ’t Harde, working with various combat support units such as logistics, communications and medical. During this period you will gain insight into these units and, following the orientation, indicate your preference for one or more of these units.

Your final assignment will be determined in consultation with the Landmacht, after which you will attend the specialist training for the selected unit and begin your career as a soldier in that branch.

Career Path and Requirements
After the orientation you will choose a weapon or service branch. The choice may be limited by available training places and your prior education. You must hold a valid passport at the start of training.

Benefits

Monthly salary €2,950 – €3,150 (soldier orientation in combat support).

23 to 30 vacation days per year.

Free driver’s licence training.
