Commissioning Engineer

Our client is looking for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join their team.
As a Senior Commissioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for commissioning, testing, and commissioning electrical installations. You'll work independently on complex technical issues requiring specialized knowledge. You'll systematically analyze problems and develop sustainable, well-founded solutions. You'll work accurately, maintain an overview of planning and quality, and monitor work progress.
You'll be on-site frequently and in short shifts, both domestically and internationally. You'll be part of a key technical department within their organization and collaborate with a skilled and dedicated team.
In this role, you may also be involved in projects within the field of power electronics, such as testing and commissioning power conversion systems, like converters.
Core tasks and responsibilities   Independently carrying out commissioning work on electrical installations, both nationally and internationally;
Assess and analyze technical situations and identify deviations;
Applying relevant standards, guidelines and procedures during the commissioning process;
Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, such as project teams, customers and suppliers;
Identifying risks (technical, procedural or organisational) and anticipating them;
Documenting work performed and test results;
Actively contribute to knowledge development within the team and across the organization;
Contribute to the correct and timely delivery of installations.
This is you   A completed HBO/WO education in Electrical Engineering or a similar field;
At least 5 years of relevant work experience in commissioning or start-up;
A good command of the English language, spoken and written;
Proven experience with UPS Systems and BESS
Familiar with norms and standards such as ISO, NEN and relevant international guidelines;
Experience working in technically complex environments, preferably internationally
