Hardware Manager

Hardware Manager required for an engineering company developing advanced electronic systems for demanding industrial and high-reliability applications. This Hardware Manager role will lead a team of electronics engineers responsible for the design and delivery of complex hardware platforms. The Hardware Manager will play a key role in both technical leadership and team development whilst remaining involved in the engineering process.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Hardware Engineers across multiple projects

Define hardware architecture and technical direction for new product development

Oversee analogue, digital, mixed-signal, and embedded hardware design activities

Support engineers through design reviews, technical problem solving, and project delivery

Work closely with software, systems, mechanical, and project management teams

Drive engineering best practice across development, verification, and documentation

Requirements

Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline

Strong background in electronic hardware development

Experience leading engineering teams or technical project groups

Knowledge of analogue, digital, and embedded system design

Experience delivering products from concept through to production

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
