Overview

Are you at least eighteen years old and enjoy working during the late hours? At the sorting center, you ll help ensure that letters and packages end up at the correct address. • Sorting mail using a machine or by hand
• Feeding incoming mail into the sorting machines
• Manually sorting mail that cannot be processed by the machines
• Checking whether mail has been sorted correctly
• Working in a PostNL sorting center
• Keeping your work area clean and organized

• Gross hourly wage of €14.71 (from age 18)
• Travel allowance in accordance with the PostNL collective labor agreement
• Pension accrual through Manpower
• 40% evening shift allowance
• Part-time job of approximately 9 hours per week (depending on workload at PostNL)
• Temporary contract via Manpower
• Opportunity to be trained on multiple sorting machines over time, with a minimum of two processes

PostNL is one of the most recognized companies in the Netherlands. You see it everywhere from postmen and delivery vans to the iconic orange mailboxes and letters on your doormat. Delivering mail and packages is a large-scale logistics operation, and as a mail sorter, you re a crucial part of that process. You ll be working at the PostNL sorting center in Zwolle, where there s a great working atmosphere and a friendly team.

However, the location is difficult to reach by public transport, so having your own transportation is highly preferred.

In this role, you ll work on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or from Monday to Friday from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

• At least 18 years old due to late working hours
• Good command of Dutch and English, for safety on the work floor and proper sorting of mail
• Available for at least three shifts per week
• Physically fit, as the work involves standing for long periods and lifting containers of mail
• Able to apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG)
• Preferably have your own transportation (bicycle, scooter, or car) due to limited public transport options to the work location
