Gastronomicom is an internationally-renowned French culinary school that provides professional-style cooking courses in Coral Gables, just southwest of Downtown Miami, and close to Miami International Airport. We offer a range of short and long-term French cooking programs at Michelin Star level for Florida, U.S.-based and international students. Our chef training courses include general French Cooking & Pastry classes, as well as a special 1-year program that includes 6 months of hands-on classes in Miami and France, followed by 6 months internship work in the South of France.

French Cooking / Pastry Certificate Courses:

Photo of Intensive Culinary & Pastry Programs in Florida, USA• Discovery Program (20 / 40 hours)
- Course Duration: 1 week or 2 weeks 
- 4 hours of hands-on classes each day
- 5 days per week (weekends free)

This short culinary program is designed especially for non-professionals or "amateurs" who wish to discover French cooking or pastry. Our primary goal is that you learn a lot of recipes, improve your skills, and enjoy your stay with us in Miami.

 1 Month Gourmet Program (80 hours) - Taught at Levels I, II or III
Designed for beginners or culinary professionals wishing to learn or improve their knowledge in French Cooking or Pastry, this short program is taught at a 1 Michelin star level.

 2 Month Epicure Program (160 hours) - Taught at Levels I and II
This course comprises 2 Modules of 4 weeks, with different dishes along with a higher level of difficulty taught in the second month. It is suitable for professionals and beginners who want to learn or improve their knowledge in French Cooking or Pastry.

For 8 weeks, students have 4 hours of hands-on classes per day, 5 days per week. The primary goal of this course is to teach you a lot of recipes and to ensure that you enjoy your stay with us.

• 3 Month Gastronomic Program (240 hours) - Taught at Levels I, II and III
This 12-week course consists of the 8-week Epicure program (as described above) followed by 4 weeks of teaching at Level III. Choose to focus on either French Cooking or Pastry.

• 1-Year Miami / South of France Cooking & Internship Program:
- 3 months study in Miami + 3 months study in the South of France + 6 months internship in France
