International Summer Camp UK - Camp Cooper:
If your child or teenager is a budding journalist, the Journalism summer elective offered by Camp Cooper in Scotland may be the perfect choice! Situated close to the city of Perth in Central Scotland (just an hour's drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow), we offer 2, 4, and 6-week residential summer camps for children and teenagers (ages 7-17) from throughout the UK and around the world. We provide a wide range of elective courses, including media, performing arts, sports, arts & crafts, and English language tuition for non-native English speakers.

Journalism Summer Course:
Key Skills / Activities include: Article writing, Editing, Photography, Project management skills

In this elective course, campers will get the opportunity to project-manage and write articles for the Camp Cooper newspaper.

You will have the freedom to express your journalistic talents in creating a topical and creative newspaper for the rest of Camp, as well as family & friends, to enjoy.

A typical day at Camp Cooper involves 2 individually-chosen elective activities, afternoon activities and evening programmes. In addition, weekend trips are offered.
