AGS provides accredited graduate degree programs in the fields of international relations and international business, which are taught entirely in English. We also host a range of semester and academic year study abroad programs for undergraduate students and graduate students from around the world. In addition, we offer a six-week summer abroad program for undergraduate students.

Study Abroad Programs for Undergraduate Students:

Paris is a leading global destination for students who wish to study in Europe. Our study abroad programs are ideal for those who wish to study in Paris to gain international experience while earning credits towards their degree at their home institution.
Fall / Spring Semester Abroad & Academic Year Abroad Programs:
Each semester program lasts 15 weeks. If you would like to spend an entire year studying in Paris, the curriculum is designed so that you can attend two consecutive semesters.
Our study abroad programs feature a cross-disciplinary curriculum with a two-fold focus:
- Courses are offered in "International Relations, Politics, and Business" of France and the EU.- You will have French language courses at Alliance Française, a world-renowned language school, and a partner of AGS.
AGS also organizes student trips (2 days in either Brussels or Strasbourg; 4 days in Nice on the French Riviera) and extracurricular activities. In addition to the program trips, students often take advantage of their weekends and breaks to travel on their own time.
Study Abroad Programs for Graduate Students:
Fall / Spring Semester Programs or Academic Year Programs:
A typical full-time semester consists of four courses in the fields of International Relations and Diplomacy.
You may choose to transfer the credits earned in this program to a graduate program in another U.S. institution. Alternatively, you can convert your study abroad experience into a full M.A. or Ph.D program at AGS.
Course Content:
The following are some of the subjects you can choose to study: Diplomacy and International Law; International Public Law; Principles of Economics; Strategy and Conflict Resolution; International Environmental Politics; Geopolitics; Gender, Militarization and War; Foreign Policy Formulation and Diplomacy, among many others.
Study abroad graduate students may also choose to attend French language courses offered through our partner school Alliance Francaise.
