Ohana International School in Tokyo is an inclusive preschool with a difference, located in Azabu-juban, and catering for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years. We also offer before-school & after-school child care, after-school tutoring programs and summer schools.Programs / Courses:
- Regular preschool program for children aged 18 months–5 years from 8:30am–2pm. Half-day option available. ; - Before- and after-school care available 7:30am–6pm. ; - After-school tutoring 2.30–6pm for children enrolled with Ohana or enrolled in other schools. ; - A Me & My Mom program three mornings per week. ; - After-School Classes in Phonics and Literacy, and Art, Design, and Technology. ; - Summer School includes sessions on Wonderful Water, Kids in the Kitchen, and Cool Construction.

My boys (ages 5 and 6) have absolutely loved Ohana's Design and Technology after school class! They are always eager to get to class and are excited when they leave. Having witnessed several sessions, I can say Darren has a gift to keep active boys engaged and focused; and he has tremendous patience. The children have gained real-life skills - including how to measure and use basic construction tools, while working on projects that they can relate to. It has been a great experience for both of my boys!

Our five year old daughter went to Ohana International School for supplementary English lessons after her regular Japanese school. We found the classes to be of a very high standard and her teacher Darren is an experienced children's teacher who has a good manner with the children and provided useful feedback to us. The school is well equipped with teaching materials and books. I would not have any hesitation in recommending this school to other parents.

Ohana provides a loving and caring learning environment. Our son loved attending school and made such a big progress during his time there. We felt he was supported and valued as an individual. Thank you Shelley and Darren - You are still mentioned every day in our house and we sing Ohana songs all the time.

My 5 year old daughter attends a Japanese Hoikuen, and we speak English at home. We felt it important for her to receive English instruction from a qualified and professional teacher. Thankfully someone recommended Ohana International School, and she now atttends weekly after school tutorials with excitement and enthusiasm. Her progress has been amazing which I attribute to Ohana's fun methods of teaching and caring attitude.
