The Los Angeles Academy of Performing Arts:
The Los Angeles Academy of Performing Arts (LAAPA) offers conservatory training to children and teens in the areas of drama, dance, and music. We are conveniently located on Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA. We also offer open adult classes, workshops, performance camps, and school outreach programs. Our instructors are some of the leading professionals in the world of performing arts. Our Junior Academy students (ages 7-12 years) are exposed to the same material as the Academy students (ages 13-18 years). Workshops are included as part of the curriculum. No audition is required for admittance into the Junior Academy.
About Us:
At LAAPA, we believe that cultivating all areas of the performing arts is important to each student’s development as an artist and a person; therefore we take an interdisciplinary approach to our training. Students will be exposed to a curriculum that includes Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, Dancing, Singing, and Guitar, all the while learning the important life skills required to work successfully within a group environment.
Many classes run simultaneously so parents can attend one class while their children attend another. Acting, singing, and group guitar classes follow the same twelve-week schedule as Academy classes. Drop-in classes are available for dance, yoga, and pilates only.

Quality Training:
Our instructors and guest instructors are not only gifted educators, but also professional performers of the highest caliber. They regularly perform on Broadway and in regional theatre, on television and film, they’ve been nominated for and have won Tony Awards, danced with major companies, and have played alongside some of the biggest names in music. All of them provide the instruction and inspiration required to help our students become leading professionals in the performing arts.
Pre-Professional Performing Arts Training for Children & Teens:
We offer year-round performing arts training for children & teens in the areas of drama, dance, and music (12-week sessions). Admittance into the Academy is by audition. There is no audition required for the Junior Academy.
- Children ages 7-12 years are eligible to enroll in the Junior Academy. Classes meet 2 nights a week, in addition to Saturday rehearsals.
- The Academy is a pre-professional performing arts conservatory for students ages 13-18 years.
- Open classes in acting, dancing, singing, yoga, pilates & group guitar are available to adults & children.
- In addition, LAAPA offers performance camps, and workshops taught by some of the leading professionals in the world of performing arts.

Child Educational Center (CEC), La Canada

Located in La Canada, between Pasadena and Glendale in Los Angeles County, CA, The Child Educational Center (CEC) offers infant, preschool and school-age programs for children from 2 months to 12 years from La Canada, Glendale, La Crescenta, Pasadena, Altadena and neighbouring communities. Enrollment is open to any child 2 months to 5 years of age for our infant / toddler and preschool program, and any child entering kindergarten through 6th grade for our school-age program without discrimination in regard to sex, race, color, or creed. The most important part of our curriculum is people. As a result, optimal matches are important. Factors considered in this process include: age, characteristics of development, balance of boys/girls in groups, special needs, adequate clustering of minority children. With the above in mind, children are enrolled in an effort to reflect as much diversity as possible so that children are thriving. Jenny Hart Early Education Center

Jenny Hart Early Education Center in Irvine, Orange County, is a full day Christian preschool serving children ages two years through to kindergarten. We are open from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and offer a full day program, half days are not available. We serve breakfast in the early morning as well as morning and afternoon snack. We also serve milk with lunches that the children bring from home. We have 6 classrooms and low teacher / child ratios in a family environment. We are a ministry of the Irvine Presbyterian Church, founded in 1985 in memory of Jennifer Lynn Hart. (1978 - 1984).
At Jenny Hart Early Education Center, we encourage self-esteem, social skills and creativity by fostering trust and autonomy, while providing a balance of Christian values and pre-academic concepts. Kids Into Speaking Spanish Kiss

Kids Into Speaking Spanish (KISS) is a total Spanish immersion program for preschool and kindergarten age children (from 2 to 6 years), with two locations in the East Bay region of San Francisco Bay Area: Walnut Creek (East of Oakland in Contra Costa County) and Montclair, Oakland, CA. The schools are a safe and exciting place for children to grow and learn. Our success over the last seven years is a testament to our innovative program. We provide a wonderful program designed to prepare your child for academic success. About 95% of the activities are conducted in Spanish. The core of our curriculum consists of activities and participation in cultural experiences such as singing, dancing, art projects, cooking, and games - all done entirely in Spanish.
All of the instructors we hire are native speakers because the KISS program emphasizes proper pronunciation and exposure to various aspects of Latin culture. We believe that creating an environment where children have fun, while being exposed to the Spanish language paves the way for greater receptivity to learning the language in a more structured setting later.
