Keystone International School in downtown Toronto offers both private kindergarten (for 4-5 year olds) and coed high school programs (Grades 7-12), as well as online high school courses & homeschool program for students globally to earn their Canadian High School Diploma. Features of our School:
• The school was established by Keystone International Schools group with the aim of providing the children of expats as well as international students seeking to study abroad in Canada with the wonderful opportunity of high school studies in Ontario, in preparation for a smooth transition into post-secondary education.

• In preparation for college & university in North America, Keystone teaches students to think about what they learn, to understand, analyze, formulate, and propose logical solutions to non-routine problems. Students are taught to be resourceful, to connect their learning to real-life issues, to organize tasks, and manage their time to meet deadlines.

• International students are placed in carefully selected homestays in Toronto with a local family, with our student coordinator maintaining daily contact with the students and weekly contact with the families. Students are immersed in the Canadian culture, customs & values; easing their adaptation period. Alternatively, a Student Residence is available in downtown Toronto.

• Keystone offers Small Class Sizes and Close-knit Community to ensure that each student is seen, respected, valued and challenged. Small class sizes allow our teachers to tailor the curriculum to the needs of each student. This results in a truly unique education, crafted to the needs and personality of each child.

• An "Experiential Learning" approach provides a setting in which students gain critical - thinking skills and advanced knowledge in every subject.

• Keystone provides a "Project Based Learning" environment. Students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to a complex question, problem, or challenge.

• Kindergarten: English & French Bilingual inquiry-based & academic program. Junior & Senior Kindergarten groups for children ages 4-5 years old.

• Lower School: Junior High School Grades 7 & 8

• Upper-School: High School Grades 9 - 12. Compulsory Academic/University Preparation courses plus electives.

• Keystone Online / Homeschool Programs: Students globally can take online courses to earn their Canadian High School Diploma. We also have a hybrid program designed for students who are currently studying abroad on a full-time basis or are homeschooled and would like the flexibility to change between the programs and even join our campus in Toronto for a school term or a full academic year.

• Keystone Toronto serves both local students living in, for example, Downtown Toronto, GTA (Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Markham, Vaughan, Hamilton, Ajax) as well as expat families living throughout Ontario and Canada and the USA.

• Our international students, from over 25 countries currently, join Keystone International School in search of a quality high school education abroad in Canada - in preparation for a seamless transition into a post-secondary school, college or university in future years.
