Image of Language and Music for Life (LMFL) Language and Music for Life:
LMFL offers an International Summer Music Program and Language Courses for teenagers (17+) and adults in the beautiful and historic city of Florence in Central Italy.

Designed for musicians with advanced levels of musical knowledge, this summer course includes master classes in a wide range of instruments and workshops in voice training, summer choir, orchestra conducting, and string orchestra taught by internationally-renowned professors. One-to-one tuition is also available.

The program also offers students a choice of Italian, French, German, or English language classes, taught one-to-one or in small groups.

Photo of Summer Music School in Florence, Italy The capital city of the Tuscany region, Florence is the birthplace of the Renaissance. As well as being home to masterpieces of art and architecture, it lies at the heart of much of the entire Western musical tradition.

Our summer music program will be held at the Villa Favard di Rovezzano, the oldest part of the Conservatory Luigi Cherubini of Florence site. It is situated in the middle of a beautiful botanical park with cedar trees and roses.

The Villa Favard di Rovezzano has a concert hall, a large number of piano studios (including grand pianos), and lots of music studios.

Florence is served by Florence International Airport, Peretola which operates flights to and from cities throughout Europe. Rome is only about 3 hours away by car while Milan is slightly over 3.5 hours away.
