Is your child or teenager interested in mountain biking? If so, the mountain biking elective course offered by Camp Cooper in Scotland could be the ideal choice this summer! Situated close to the city of Perth in Central Scotland (only an hour's drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow), Camp Cooper provides 2, 4, and 6 week residential summer camps that allow children and teenagers (ages 7-17) from Britain and around the world to design their own personalised summer camp experience. We offer a range of electives including mountain biking, outdoor adventure, performing arts, media, tennis, football, art and English language tuition for non-native English speakers.

Mountain Biking Course - Summer Elective - ages 7-17:
Activities include: Basic bike maintenance and repair; Learning trail etiquette; Trail riding; Mapping local trails

In this elective course, campers learn the fundamentals of mountain biking. Whether you are a complete novice or have some mountain biking experience, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills, as well as enjoying trail riding in the beautiful scenery of the picturesque local area.

A typical day at Camp Cooper involves 2 individually-chosen elective activities, afternoon activities and evening programmes. Electives are 2 hours long, and held daily.
