The school is located in a renewed building in the most important commercial street in Porto, called Rua de Santa Catarina! We’re 5 minutes away from the nearest Metro Station, Bolhão, and 10 minutes from São Bento train station. You can easily get to the river district, Ribeira, in a 15 minute walk!

Oficina de Portugues is equiped with wireless internet, a computer always available for student use, a library, a self study lounge, reception with coffee machine, tea kettle and occasionally some Portuguese pastry! All our classrooms benefit from direct sunlight and are modern and airy.

Founded in 2005 by Fernanda Ferreira, Português Et Cetera is situated in the historical centre of Lisbon, and takes a practical approach to language learning in a friendly atmosphere. We provide Portuguese courses to students from around the world. Our school offers a practical approach and very friendly atmosphere - a great combination to progress fast and well! We initially assess your language skills in Portuguese, then place you in a class according to your needs.
Our lessons focus on general subjects, but we always take your individual needs into account. To ensure this commitment, our groups have a maximum of 6 students. All lessons are tailored with creativity & fun. You also learn about Portuguese society, the specifics of Portuguese culture, and about Portuguese living.
Growing from a passion for teaching in a multicultural environment, Português et Cetera passes on this passion into the classes. For us, a lesson is an enjoyable, educational moment for everyone - teachers and students!
