Notre Dame High School, North Haven:
Notre Dame High School is a college preparatory school for boys in grades 9-12 located in West Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut. Our college preparatory curriculum, a curriculum designed for the unique learning style of boys with college prep ACT and SAT as well as our honors and advanced placement courses prepares students for success in college. As boys become young men of high school age, the transition to independent learning begins – and needs – to take place so as to foster proper preparation for the demands of college and life beyond. Notre Dame’s curriculum, known for academic excellence and innovation, prepares its students for success in college. In fact, traditionally 98 percent of our graduates enter college each fall. Notre Dame creates each student’s schedule, challenging them to the best of their ability by looking at course content, level of difficulty of texts, the nature and difficulty of assignments and projects, as well as pace of instruction. Our curriculum accommodates a wide range of intellectual ability.
Core subjects include English, math, science, social studies, business/technology, religion, fine arts, foreign languages.
Moreau Honors Program:
Named for Blessed Basil Moreau, founder of the Brothers of Holy Cross, the two-year Moreau Honors Program invites freshman and sophomore participants to learn in a new, more interesting and challenging way. The curriculum includes religion, English, technology, and social studies, taught in an interdisciplinary format by the respective faculty members to highlight connections across disciplines and time. Often held back-to-back in a student’s schedule, the interdisciplinary approach requires students to think beyond the obvious, engage in group projects, and learn to analyze in creative ways through higher-order thinking skills.
Advanced Placement Courses:
Notre Dame offers the Advanced Placement courses expected of a college-prep curriculum. Juniors and seniors who excel in Advanced Placement courses and perform well on the National AP Exam may receive college credit in that subject area at the college or university they eventually attend.
Currently, Notre Dame offers the following AP courses: Calculus, English Composition and Literature, Government and Politics, Spanish, U.S. History, Physics, and Studio Art.
UConn ECE Program:
Through the University of Connecticut (UConn) Early College Experience Program, many Notre Dame students earn college credit for courses they take while at Notre Dame. Not every high school can offer this – only those with faculty whose caliber and credentials qualify them to serve as adjunct professors for UConn.

iD Tech Camps offers immersive technology summer camp programs for kids and teens in over 80 prestigious universities in the USA, including Wesleyan University in Middletown CT, University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport CT, and Yale University in New Haven CT. Weeklong day camps and overnight camps are available for kids & teens ages 7-17. Additionally, iD Tech Academies (including the iD Programming and iD Film Academies) provide 2-week long overnight programs for teens ages 13-18. Choose from a wide variety of exciting course topics - Game Design, Web Design, Coding, Programming Modding, and Robotics among others. Located in Trumbull, in the Greater Bridgeport Area in Fairfield County, Connecticut, Christian Heritage School is a K-12 independent, coeducational, interdenominational day school with an enrollment of over 500 students.
