Skydive Long Island:
Skydive Long Island is conveniently located 70 miles east of New York City, in Calverton, New York, with easy road and rail access. With a view of the entire east end of Long Island, the Atlantic ocean, and Long Island Sound, SDLI is your premium skydiving center for the whole New York area!
Our center is located on a now defunct military manufacturers plant. Once home of Grumman, builders of the F-14 and Lunar Modules, is now home to skydivers. The airport is HUGE! We use an 10,000 foot long runway, and have a 5 acre landing area along the taxiway. It takes some effort to land "off" here!
A new packing building has been added, and the previous packing building was moved to provide easy access to both the loading and landing areas.
As always, there is a rigging loft on site, complete with gear for sale. Rigging services are available 7 days a week, please contact us quickly via our Contact Page if you need more information.
