ISSOS, Summer School 2026 at St Andrews & Cambridge Universities:
ISSOS offers three-week summer school programs for international students aged between 13 - 18 years of age. Our residential summer camps for teenagers are held in July and August in the university town of St. Andrews on the beautiful east coast of Scotland. St. Andrews is famous all over the world as the "home of golf" and students in St. Andrews have the option of taking Golf as an elective subject.

Our summer camps for international students aim to offer a balanced summer experience of academics, fun and culture. All students will be picked up by a uniformed member of staff at the selected international airport. St Andrews is located approximately 50 miles (80km) north-east of Edinburgh, and 80 miles (130 km) north-east of Glasgow. 

Golf Elective Course (Available at St. Andrews only)
Students choose one academic subject and one elective subject to study during their 3-week stay. Students have the opportunity to take golf as an elective subject.

The academic subjects available in St. Andrews that can be taken alongside the Golf program are Creative Writing, Debating, English Language Course, International Baccalaureate (IB program) or Youth Leadership.

Golf Academy:
Our three-week junior golf school elective is designed for students of all abilities, from beginners to experienced players.

Professional coaching and small group lessons as well as individual tuition will motivate and enthuse each player to improve their skills and maximise their ability.

Students will be offered the unrivalled opportunity to play and learn the game of golf under PGA-qualified instructors on some of the most famous and beautiful golf courses in the world.

Players who already have a handicap will furthermore have the opportunity to play the most famous golf course in the world: the St Andrews Old Course.
