Located in the world-famous university town of St. Andrews on the beautiful east coast of Scotland, ISSOS offers all-inclusive three-week summer school programs during the months of July and August.

Our residential summer camps are available to international students aged between 13 - 18 years of age and aim to offer a balanced summer experience of academics, fun and culture. Students have the opportunity to take Youth Leadership as an academic subject as part of our summer school at St. Andrews.

St Andrews is located approximately 50 miles (80km) north-east of Edinburgh, and 80 miles (130 km) north-east of Glasgow. All students will be collected by a uniformed member of staff at the selected international airport.

Youth Leadership Program (Available at St. Andrews only)
Students choose one academic subject and one elective subject to study during their 3-week stay.

Students in St. Andrews have the option of taking a Youth Leadership as an academic subject.

The choice of electives available in St. Andrews to be studied alongside Youth Leadership are Golf, Theatre, Tennis, Film or Art.

Our Youth Leadership academic program will help you build confidence in yourself, and enhance your motivation and ability to make things happen.

With our three-week leadership training program we want to help students ease school stress, raise their grades and increase their test scores while at the same time showing them ways to express themselves, pursue goals, solve problems, resolve conflicts and bring about positive change.

Course Content:
The course offers hands-on learning, leadership and interpersonal skills which will enable all students whatever their background, experience or ability level to get ahead.

Participants are challenged to further develop their interpersonal and leadership skills and confidence through an enhanced curriculum including:

• Personal profiling and careers guidance
• Self-expression and communication
• Team-building and small group facilitation skills
• Social responsibility
• Goal-setting and personal motivation
