MA (TESOL): The Master of Arts in TESOL is a three-semester program, taught entirely in English, for teachers with some experience who would like to further their professional development. Core courses cover theory of language acquisition, teaching methodology, research methods, curriculum development, assessment and evaluation. Elective courses broaden the curriculum in specific areas of individual interest.

Graduates of the program understand how languages are learned and can make informed choices of teaching methods and strategies for specific local circumstances. This program can also be studied part-time. Students who are working as well as studying can plan to complete the MA in 4 or 5 semesters. The program must be completed within 10 semesters (i.e. 5 years) of the date of enrolment.
