Documents required for application - 01 Jun 2010

When applying for a Nuffic Certificate, you are required to provide Nuffic with all of the following documents:
- A copy of your passport or ID card. Please make sure that the photos on the copy of your passport or ID card are clear enough to identify.
- The Nuffic Certificate application form. Please complete the digital application form online. If the form is not correctly filled in, the procedure may take longer.
- A clear (photo) copy of a valid English proficiency test report. We accept only IELTS (academic) or TOEFL iBT (Internet-based) tests. Please note that the Overall Band score of the English test should match the minimum language requirement of the international programme for which you are applying. If the test score does not match the language requirement, your application for a Nuffic Certificate will be rejected.
- Copies of diplomas, degrees and transcripts, including English translations (see details below).

If you are applying for a master's degree programme, you are required to provide copies of the diploma, degree and transcripts of the university where you obtained your bachelor¿s degree.

If you are applying for a bachelor's degree programme, you are required to provide copies of your secondary school diploma or a schooling statement, as well as a huikao result.

If you are applying for a bachelor's degree programme of a Dutch research university, you must also submit a schooling certificate from a Chinese university or a gaokao result.

Please note that if your educational background does not meet the entry requirements of the programme, or if your school is not recognized by the Chinese Ministry of Education, your application will be rejected.

After submission
Please note that you cannot change your documents after they have been submitted to Nuffic, and that Nuffic will not return any documents to students after submission. You may, however, send Nuffic supplementary documents during the application procedure.
