The University of Nottingham (Ningbo China):
The University of Nottingham (Ningbo China) is located in Ningbo, a city in East China, two and a half hours by road from Shanghai. Ningbo has a population of 6 million people and a lengthy history of 7,000 years. The city has rapidly developed and now ranked as the 7th best city in China for business by Forbes magazine. It also holds the second largest port in the world and therefore attracts a large number of international investment.

Ningbo offers a mix of international modernism and distinct Chinese traditions and features. The University is located only 20 minutes from the city centre, in a leafy suburb housing four other universities. A number of well connected bus routes start just outside the university gate, making everything within the city easily commutable for students and staff alike.
