Language and Music For Life:
Language and Music for Life (LMFL) is committed to providing training in both music and foreign languages to students of all ages through our unique summer music and language courses, with a lower age limit of 10 years old and no upper age limit (adults included). Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. We also offer a Junior Summer Course - an International Summer Music and Language Course for accompanied children 4 to 10 years old.

Summer Courses 2012 held at one of Wales' finest independent schools:
Our Summer Courses 2012 will be hosted by Llandovery College which is one of Wales' finest independent schools. It is situated on 55 acres of grounds in the heart of the very friendly village of Llandovery, Carmarthenshire in south-west Wales, approximately 42 miles north-west of the Welsh capital Cardiff and 83 miles south-west of Birmingham. The nearest major airports to Llandovery College are Cardiff International and Bristol International (one hour by car) with several direct flights from and to the USA and a large number of low cost direct flights from and to most main cities in Europe. Trains arrive at the local train station in the village twice a day.

Course Levels: Primarily for highly motivated musicians with a level of musical education, the course is open to musicians preparing for national, international exams or competitions, as well as to skilled amateurs.

Music Courses: Orchestra conducting, Composition voice tuition (classical and jazz), Choir Chamber music, Piano masterclasses, Violin masterclass, Viola masterclass, Flute and picollo masterclass, Recorder masterclass, Clarinet, Percussion, Brass, Oboe, Guitar and Cello classes.

Language Courses: Quality tuition in Spanish, French, German, Russian, Mandarin Chinese and English in very small groups (5-6 maximum) or in one to one tuition. Although the preferred language of communication is English, it is possible to learn and practise several second languages.

Further Summer Courses:
- Intensive One-Week Language & Music Course - We offer a one-week crash Course in English, French or Mandarin + music tuition (chamber music & chamber choir) for students who are registering for our Musical Summer Course. This course is held before the main summer course.
- LEGO Robotics Course - Optional activity for students, their siblings, parents & teachers.
- LMFL Junior Summer Course - An International Summer Music and Language Course for accompanied children 4 to 10 years old.
