Situated in Altoona PA, serving the Blair County area, Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center provides a full and part-time Practical Nursing Program that serves as a stepping stone for graduates to become employed as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in a wide range of healthcare settings. Our Practical Nursing Program has continued to receive full approval from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing since its inception in 1962. The full-time program is a comprehensive, one year program, while the part-time program takes two years to complete.
