Language and Music For Life, Summer Music Camps in UK 2026 - all levels & backgrounds:
Is your child or teenager a skilled jazz musician or vocalist? If you are searching for a jazz summer camp in the UK, Language and Music for Life (LMFL) provide an international music and language camp in North Yorkshire, England that may be ideal for you. This intensive two-week course is designed for highly motivated musicians of all ages (children aged 5+, teenagers & adults). Participants receive quality private instruction from world-class teachers in a wide range of instruments, including piano, saxophone, guitar, flute and many more. Private vocal tuition is also available. LMFL also offers a music summer camp in Florence, Italy for adults & teenagers (aged 16+ years old) of all levels & backgrounds. In addition, we welcome younger advanced students accompanied by at least one parent or guardian.

Our jazz summer camp in UK in 2026 will be hosted by Giggleswick School, a co-educational day and boarding school in a beautiful part of North Yorkshire, England. It is accessible from all parts of the UK through excellent road, rail and air links (Approximately 380km from London, 57 km from Leeds, and 100km from Manchester). The closest international airport is Manchester International Airport, just 70 miles away, with direct flights from major cities in UK, USA & Europe).

International Music (Jazz) & Language Summer Course 2026:
Our July course is 2 weeks in duration. Residential & non-residential options are available. 

Course Options for Jazz Musicians / Vocalists:

• Jazz Sessions: 10 hours
• Piano Jazz: 10 hours including 1 hour per day of private tuition & piano rental
• Saxophone / Flute Jazz  including 1 hour per day of private tuition 
• Gospel / Jazz / Pop Vocal Tuition (one-on-one): 10 hours

Our young musicians can also choose to study Orchestra Conducting, Chamber Music, Music Composition, Music Theory, Choir and more.

LMFL provides our students with opportunities to take renowned Trinity College London exams in both music and/or English language.

Our students also have the opportunity to improve their language skills with small group classes or private lessons in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian. The IELTS English test preparation course can be studied either 1 -1 or in group tuition & will be for 17+ year olds.

Young Musicians (ages 5-12):
Group teaching for children is by age and level. Very young students can be beginners in a second instrument as long as they are not beginners in their first instrument.

Young musicians under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. However, we will accept unaccompanied children from the age of 11 who are at an advanced level and known to us from attending a previous LMFL course.
