Language and Music For Life, Summer Music Camps in UK 2026 - all levels & backgrounds:
If your child or teenager is a skilled oboe player who would benefit from high-quality tuition, the international music and language summer camp offered by Language and Music for Life may be an excellent choice. Held at Llandovery College North Yorkshire, England, this summer music camp is designed for highly motivated musicians of all ages (children aged 5+, teenagers & adults). Oboe classes are available to children aged 9+. Young musicians under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. However, we do accept unaccompanied children aged 11 or older if their parent / guardian cannot attend, as long as they are at advanced level and known to us from a previous LMFL course. LMFL also offers a music summer camp in Florence, Italy for adults and high school teenagers 16+ years old at an advanced level.

Our oboe summer camp in UK in 2026 will be hosted by Giggleswick School, a co-educational day and boarding school in a beautiful part of North Yorkshire, England. It is accessible from all parts of the UK through excellent road, rail and air links (Approximately 380km from London, 57 km from Leeds, and 100km from Manchester). The closest international airport is Manchester International Airport, just 70 miles away, with direct flights from major cities in UK, USA & Europe).

Quality Music Instruction:
Founded in 1997, Language and Music for Life provides training in classical music, jazz, and foreign languages, with master classes in a wide range of wind instruments, including oboe, clarinet, flute, piccolo and more. We provide our students with opportunities to take renowned Trinity College London exams in both music and/or English language.

International Music (Oboe) & Language Summer Course 2026:
Our course runs for 2 weeks in July.

This intensive summer course is ideal for oboe players and other talented musicians who possess a level of musical knowledge that enables them to derive maximum benefit from high quality music tuition. 

It is ideal for skilled amateur oboe players, as well as for musicians who are preparing for national, international exams or competitions.

Participants can also choose to study Orchestra Conducting, Chamber Music, Music Composition and more.

In addition, participants receive quality language tuition in French, Spanish, Italian, German, or English in very small groups (5-6 maximum) or in one to one tuition. The IELTS English test preparation course can be studied either 1 -1 or in group tuition & will be for 17+ year olds.
