Language and Music For Life, Summer Music Camps in UK 2026 - all levels & backgrounds:
Language and Music for Life (LMFL) is committed to providing training in classical music, jazz, and foreign languages to students of all ages and levels through our unique 2-week summer music and language courses, with a lower age limit of 5 years old and no upper age limit (adults included). Our Summer Course 2026 will be hosted by Giggleswick School, a co-educational day and boarding school in a beautiful part of North Yorkshire, England. It is accessible from all parts of the UK through excellent road, rail and air links (Approximately 380km from London, 57 km from Leeds, and 100km from Manchester). The closest international airport is Manchester International Airport, just 70 miles away, with direct flights from major cities in UK, USA & Europe).

Summer Music & Language Courses 2026:

Course Levels: Primarily for highly motivated musicians with a level of musical education, the course is open to musicians preparing for national, international exams or competitions, as well as to skilled amateurs.

Music Courses:

• Instrumental Training: 10 hours of one-to-one tuition in Violin, Viola, Cello, Harp, Classical Piano, Piano Jazz, Oboe, Flute, Saxophone, Clarinet, Brass, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Drums.

• Singing / Vocals:  Classical Singing - Vocal technique & interpretation of classical songs & arias. Opera workshop.
Jazz Singing (individual classes), Songwriting (new, individual tuition)

• Additional Music Courses include: Orchestra Conducting, Music Composition, Music Theory, Chamber Music, Choir, Trinity Exam Preparation 

Language Courses:
Quality tuition in Spanish, French, German, and English in very small groups (5-6 maximum) or in one to one tuition. Although the preferred language of communication is English, it is possible to learn and practice several second languages. 

IELTS Prep:
The IELTS English test preparation course can be studied either 1 -1 or in group tuition, will be for 17+ year olds.
