The town, whose name in dialect means "cliff", is situated on the South Coast of Italy, on a high promontory overlooking the Gulf of Sant'Eufemia on the Tyrrhenian (Mediterranean) Sea. Surrounded by gently rolling hills, an emerald-green sea which nestles into innumerable small bays with beaches of fine, golden sand, and with the imposing sight of Mount Stromboli volcano, here you discover Calabria from its most beautiful side.

There are six different course levels: Beginners/Elementary 1 & 2, Intermediate 1 & 2, Advanced 1 & 2.

The number of participants is restricted to a maximum of 6 people per course, to create the opportunity for intensive, personally applicable courses. Homogenous classes also play a part in effective learning. In order to be placed at the appropriate level, all students, except absolute beginners, sit a written and oral test at the beginning of the language course. The goal of the teaching is to promote the use of language, consolidate grammatical structures and offer an insight into the culture and everyday life of the Italians.

The classroom language is Italian. The teaching method follows the communicative-situational model as a matter of priority. Here, alongside reading and writing in particular, special emphasis is also placed on the promotion of oral expression and communicative competence, conversation and oral comprehension. The syntactical and grammatical structures taught in lessons will immediately be given practical illustration.
