Each course at FlexTech High School will provide an opportunity for a student to conduct a project-based learning activity. Project-Based Learning involves students investigating real world questions and problems and developing solutions through products, performances or other methods. Through this investigation process, students develop skills and demonstrate knowledge that meets the standards of the Michigan Merit Curriculum.

Although online learning opportunities offer the potential to meet the unique needs of many students, they cannot respond to all needs of today’s students. Students need opportunities to develop critical thinking skills as well as teachers who can provide alternative methods to learn material.

Michigan Virtual School

Based in Lansing, Michigan, Michigan Virtual School (MVS) enables Michigan high schools and middle schools to provide online courses and other learning tools to middle and high school students. We offer MVS Plus (high school and middle school) and Advanced Placement courses, taught by certified teachers.
