The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading Bulldog Services LLP's Accounting Department by directing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while safeguarding the Company's financial integrity. This position provides financial leadership through disciplined execution, regulatory compliance, accurate reporting, internal controls, and continuous process improvement in support of Bulldog's strategic objectives.
Primary Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams.
- Oversee all daily accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate General Ledger records.
- Direct month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare timely financial statements, KPI reports, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
- Manage company cash flow and banking relationships.
- Support payroll administration and payroll reconciliation.
- Oversee customer billing, collections, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
- Maintain internal financial controls and segregation of duties.
- Partner with Operations, Sales, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement through Quick Books Enterprise, Odoo ERP, ADP Workforce Now, and related financial systems.
- Develop department procedures, documentation, and cross-training plans.
The Accounting Manager serves as Bulldog Services LLP's Financial Compliance Leader and is responsible for ensuring the Company remains compliant with all applicable federal, state, and local financial and employer obligations.
Responsibilities include monitoring regulatory changes, maintaining compliance calendars, coordinating with outside accountants and regulatory agencies, and ensuring all statutory reporting and payments are completed accurately and on time.
This position owns all statutory employer liabilities from calculation through payment, ensuring every federal, state, and local tax, payroll, unemployment, workers' compensation, and regulatory obligation is accurately reported, reconciled, approved, and remitted in accordance with applicable laws.

The Accounting Manager may approve routine accounting transactions that fall within established company policies.

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Five (5) or more years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
- Experience supervising and leading accounting personnel.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Quick Books Enterprise, Odoo ERP, and ADP Workforce Now.
- Manufacturing, service, industrial, or oil & gas experience preferred.
