Conair Aerial Firefighting Buyer

Become a Buyer at Conair and help support our mission in firefighting with your procurement expertise. This role involves strategic sourcing and managing vendor relationships to optimize operations.

In this position, you will manage the flow of purchases from order to delivery, ensuring that our fleet is always operational for critical missions. You'll conduct vendor research, negotiate contracts, and address any supply chain issues, collaborating closely with various teams to enhance operational readiness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct vendor sourcing and analysis to improve procurement

• Manage purchase order communication and entry in databases

• Resolve claims and ensure product conformity

• Monitor schedules and expedite purchases as necessary

• Provide AOG support and supplier communication

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of purchasing best practices

• Solid negotiating and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with MS Office and ERPs

• Experience in aviation purchasing or supply chain

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
