Position Overview
You are a Corporate Restructuring professional ready to work at the centre of complex, high‑stakes restructuring mandates. As a Manager in our Corporate Restructuring practice, you lead critical client relationships and work closely with nationally recognized insolvency leaders on some of the most impactful files across British Columbia. Responsibilities- Service Delivery:
- Manage a complex corporate restructuring portfolio, effectively oversee engagement files, including professional, technical, and administrative teams.
- Evaluate complex business issues and formulate recommendations for the Court and various stakeholders to maximize creditor recoveries while maintaining the business viability where possible.
- Communicate and negotiate with diverse stakeholders (creditors, debtors, lawyers, lenders, etc.) on file engagements.
- Track project progress, milestones, and deadlines; review invoices, prepare payments, and handle trust account duties; prepare summary of receipts and disbursements for trust accounts.
- Execute ad hoc projects utilizing accounting skills and business acumen on unique, challenging, real‑time assignments.
- Business Development:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with corporate restructuring professionals including lawyers, regulators, investors and representatives of lending institutions.
- Actively participate in industry organizations, events, firm marketing initiatives to generate new corporate restructuring business.
- Demonstrate client development skills, anticipate client and market needs, and market key targets.
- Strengthen alumni connections and expand professional network.
- Participate in professional, industry or community organization events.
- Education:
- Enrollment in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) Qualification Program in preparation to obtain Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT).
- Completion of a Bachelor’s or advanced level degree (Masters) or professional accounting designation (CPA).
- Experience and Attributes:
- 3+ years of advisory experience in a Canadian professional services firm leading complex corporate restructuring and insolvency proceedings, or equivalent professional experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of insolvency proceedings and ability to attend client sites.
- Understanding of key performance indicators and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in file acquisition, administration and closure.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills for stakeholder communication and court reports.
- Active participation in professional, industry or community organizations.
- Develop solutions with clients and co‑workers through collaborative effort and discussion.
- Strong management and leadership skills, active development of the team and the broader advisory practice.
- Commitment to quality, excellence, and continual professional growth.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, earning trust and confidence of clients and colleagues at all levels.

Compensation is aligned with market data and individual contribution. Current salary range for this role is $89,000–$135,000 in Vancouver. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
Office model requires teams to be together in the office 4 days per week.
