Controller Overseeing Financial Operations

Lead financial operations as a Controller responsible for accuracy and compliance within diversified companies across Canada and the U.S. Master financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic insights for decision-makers.

As the Financial Controller, you will report to the CFO while steering all aspects of financial integrity and accountability across various entities. This role demands a strong background in accounting practices, financial controls, and developing effective financial strategies. Help guide internal financial practices and mentor finance team members to continue elevating operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage month-end and year-end financial close processes

• Prepare detailed financial statements across multiple entities

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

• Supervise intercompany transactions and reconciliations

• Collaborate with business leaders on financial data requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA a must

• 5-10+ years of relevant finance experience

• Knowledge of multi-entity and cross-border frameworks

• Strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance

• Advanced Excel and ERP systems proficiency
