Associate Director of Thrift Shop Operations

Oversee transformative retail operations for MCC BC as the Associate Director. Spearhead strategic initiatives across nine thrift locations to enhance operational and community outcomes.

In this key leadership role, you will supervise Thrift Shop Managers and engage with volunteers and employees to drive performance and financial results. Working directly with the Chief Operating Officer, you will ensure that retail execution aligns with overall mission objectives. Your leadership in developing operational standards and effective merchandising will be crucial to our network's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership across MCC BC's thrift shops

• Manage and support Thrift Shop Managers' development

• Implement technology-driven operational improvements

• Foster collaboration with HR for employee development

• Utilize data to drive performance evaluation

Requirements:

• Five years of progressive retail leadership experience

• Strong operational and project management skills

• Experience in charitable retail or nonprofit sectors is valuable

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• Regular travel to shop locations is necessary
